This is what’s wrong with PHP

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

Today was a bad PHP day, a very bad PHP day. Now all of the below is known by seasoned PHP coders already, you learn to live with it, however it does make for a good anectode, rarely does PHP’s crappier aspects converge in such a profound way to completely screw you up for hours on end.... Big Chinese site is stealing content

I was out googling for ecommerce solutions to MODx today (foxycart seems to be the only real alternative) and stumbled upon a result having the exact same title as one of my tutorials. The jcwcn.com domain was unknown to me, intriguing so I clicked the link.... Read More

Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008

Yesterday I read an article in my reader, by DHH I think, it prompted me to take a look at the Basecamp homepage. I’ve never used Basecamp so I tried basecamp.com which was totally wrong, that in turn made me Google for “basecamp 37signals” which gave me the proper link to basecamphq.com as the first result, the second result however leads to whybasecampsux.org. Intriguing, so I clicked it.... Read More
