DiskSearch

I just tried DiskSearch, it’s a great replacement of WhereIsIt for Linux, the only gripe I have is that it’s not possible to actually click in the search results to have the folder open up in Nautilus.

I can’t understand why I even bothered with the massively bloated crap that is called Beagle, what a waste.

It’s easy to install also since it’s in the Ubuntu repositories, apt-get install disksearch should do it.

However if you need something to constantly scan and index in the background, hogging up 50+ MB then DiskSearch is not for you, you choose what to index and when to index yourself.
